What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Call Cashier position at Elizabethtown College?
The Elizabethtown College Store is hiring a part-time On-Call Cashier to assist when extra help is needed in the store for special events and to alternate Saturdays with the Store Cashier. This person will provide excellent customer service, operate a cash register, provide correct change, assist with inventory, stock shelves as needed,as well as provide oversight to student employees.
Job Duties
- Provide customers service to in-store and online customers
- Wait on customers when they are ready to check out
- Stock new items on the shelves as they arrive
- Assist managers with maintaining inventory
- Oversee student employees
Required Qualifications
High school diploma is required; plus retail experience. Experience with computers and retail systems or an aptitude and desire to learn. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands
