MDS Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessment process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of MDS documentation.
- Monitor reimbursement processes and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Educate and support staff on MDS and RAI (Resident Assessment Instrument) guidelines.
MDS Coordinator Qualifications:
- RN license (state of Pennsylvania).
- Prior MDS experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and PDPM regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
