Regional Nurse Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support nursing staff in multiple facilities within the region.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, facility policies, and best practices.
- Conduct regular facility visits to monitor patient care, assess staff performance, and provide ongoing education.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure quality care and patient safety.
- Lead and participate in facility audits, surveys, and inspections.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and regional management to address concerns and improve operational efficiency.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
Regional Nurse Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel between facilities within the region.
This position involves working at all three of our facilities: Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab (141 Heisey Ave, Elizabethtown, PA 17022), Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation (320 S Market St, Elizabethtown, PA 17022), and Forest Park Nursing and Rehabilitation (700 Walnut Bottom Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013). We are seeking someone who is comfortable working across these locations to provide the best care to our residents.
