Elizon Apparel is seeking an Apparel Graphic Designer to create and execute graphic-based artwork for graphic tops, sweaters, and sets. Success in this position requires strong deadline management and the ability to produce clear, concise tech packs. This opportunity is remote and project-based.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend handoff meetings with the concept / merchandising to receive project briefs for artwork and tech pack development.Create original artwork, layouts, and colorways using a blend of traditional techniques and digital tools ensuring designs are on-brand and trend-appropriate.Generate CADs to communicate print placements on garments and create clear, concise technical packages for artwork to be sent to vendors and factories.Partner with the design team to execute the seasonal vision for graphics.Stay informed on the latest fashion trends related to graphics, craft, prints, and color, incorporating them into designs while keeping the brand fresh and aligned with current trends.Required QualificationsBachelors Degree in Fashion, Apparel Design, Graphic Design, textiles, fibers, or similar discipline preferred2-3 years of related industry experience preferredProficiency in design software such as Adobe Suite and other technical design toolsProven expertise in graphics, with strong hand-drawing / painting skills and digital rendering abilitiesA creative mindset with a passion for surface design and trend forecastingExcellent communication skills, with a flexible and positive attitudeAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of textile innovation and sustainable practicesExperience with knitwear techniques, structures, and terminologyKnowledge of fabric properties, construction, and performanceUnderstanding of global fashion market trendsExperience working with overseas manufacturersBenefitsCompetitive salary to be discussedHealth insurancePaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesEmployee discount programLocationThis position is based in our Los Angeles office with an in-office work requirement.Qualified candidates should be prepared to submit their portfolio and resume.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
