Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and goal oriented Customer Service Representatives for our high volume (600 daily incoming calls) Medical Office Call Center. This role is essential in providing exceptional support to our patients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, contributing to a positive patient experience.
Duties
- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments over the phone.
- Provide accurate information about medical office services, procedures, and policies.
- Verify prior authorizations for medications.
- Complete medical supplies order forms. Title 19, etc.
- Handle patient concerns and descalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient call records in the system.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality policies.
- Document patient interactions in the office system accurately for future reference.
- Collaborate with team members/providers to enhance patient services and improve overall patient satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette while interacting with patients, ensuring a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
- Respond promptly to patients voicemails, emails and telephone messages
Experience
- Previous experience in patient support or client services is preferred.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable, particularly in Spanish
- Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs effectively.
- Proficiency in typing and using office software applications is essential.
- Familiarity with eClinical Works can be an advantage but is not mandatory.
