What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Center Department-Full Time position at Elk City ACE Home Center?
Must be willing to work Evenings and Weekends.
Primary Job Functions:
- Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner)
- Help with tool and grill assembly and tool repairs
- Cut keys
- Re-key locks
- Measure and cut rope, wire, and chain
- Cut glass and plexiglass
- Re-sharpen chainsaw blades
- Build replacement window screens
- Maintain, organize, and clean the Service Center Department
- Small engine quotes and repairs, where applicable
Secondary Job Functions:
- Help load merchandise for customers
- Help order merchandise
- Clean and straighten fixtures and merchandise
- Keep aisles and floors clear of obstructions
- Stock shelves
- Check in freight
- Answer telephone
- Professional communication skills
Qualifications:
- Good attitude, friendly
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- STIHL training is a plus
- Knowledge and usage of products and equipment
- Good math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Good physical condition for lifting
