Hours: Tues - Fri - 8pm - 12am
Hiring Range: $16.00 - $17.00
JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction, performs a variety of tasks required to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the Pavilion Aquatic Center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment both inside and outside of the Pavilion.
- Open the building and disarm the alarm. Walk through for safety and security check.
- Check daily building schedule for all activities to be held for that day.
- Set-up and break down for functions. Open all doors as needed for instructors and customers. Set up room as needed.
- Ensure that programs are running smoothly and that customers are served above and beyond their expectations.
- Report work order and maintenance needs.
- Complete and submit daily task sheets and other reports as needed to the Facility Maintenance Coordinator.
- Performs general custodial duties.
- Prepare rooms for classes and programs.
- Reports and takes action to correct unsafe conditions in buildings.
- Ability to learn and physically perform tasks related to the general cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of buildings to ready them for recreational programming.
- Performs the job safely and in compliance with district policies, procedures, work and safety rules.
- Be familiar with the safe operation of any equipment necessary in accomplishing required tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work assigned schedule
- Good knowledge of pertinent safety precautions.
- Ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent.
