- Plan, implement, monitor, and assess a classroom instructional program consistent with District and Board goals and philosophies.
- Instruct pupils in citizenship and basic subject matter specified in state law and administrative regulations.
- Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
- Identify pupil needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping pupils solve health, emotional, social and learning problems.
- Develop and communicate curricular and instructional plans and objectives to students and parents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, including courses needed to meet credential requirements and student teaching classroom experience.
