Fire Department – Summer Seasonal
The Village of Elk Grove is pleased to announce the offering of a Summer Fire Seasonal Position. The Summer Fire Seasonal will have the opportunity to work with both Fire Administration and Fire Operations. Some of the typical tasks will include: ride-alongs with firefighters, assisting with paperwork, community involvement and etc.
Selection will be based on qualifications.
This position will work for the months of May - August
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Graduate and currently enrolled in College
- Ability to work outdoors/all weather conditions
- A valid Illinois Driver’s License and a Safe Driving Record
- Ability to work 5 days, 40 hours per week
HOURS OF WORK: 40 Hours / Week STARTING WAGE: $17.00/hour
