Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide care for patients with infectious diseases while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care and progress.
- Support patients with dementia care by providing emotional support and engaging them in activities.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and assist in emergency situations as required.
- Utilize basic life support techniques when necessary to ensure patient safety.
- Engage with children in a caring manner when providing assistance in pediatric settings.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems is essential.
- Experience in emergency medicine or inpatient care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with infectious disease care protocols is an asset.
- Basic life support certification is required or must be obtained within the first month of employment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate attitude towards patients, especially those requiring dementia care or assistance with daily activities.
