JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the EVREDCO Fuel Venture General Manager, the Supervisor will oversee operations and employees during their scheduled shifts. This position will be key in ensuring the staff meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have retail skills and familiarity with the operations of a Fuel Mart. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are a must. Interpersonal and mediation skills will be critical as this position will serve as liaison between employees and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be added to, changed, or deleted at the sole discretion of management.
- Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
- Schedule employee shifts and assign duties
- Train and coach new employees
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to the General Manager
- Check cash drawers for accuracy and prepare bank deposits
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
- Address customer and employee complaints
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment
- Maintain a professional and clean environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises employees in the Elk Valley Tribal Fuel Mart. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, recommend for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
