Position Overview

The Industrial Engineer's responsibilities include analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards. To be successful as an Industrial Engineer you should be able to design systems that maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, are cost-efficient, and ensure high product quality.

Key Accountabilities

• Reviewing production processes, specifications, and related information.
• Performing time and motion studies to establish production rates and work standards.
• Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
• Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
• Developing work standards in cooperation with production and user personnel.
• Managing process documentation.
• Preparing cost analyses and estimated production costs.
• Training staff for new processes and providing work instructions.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field required.
• 3 years of work experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD.
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Documentation and organization skills.

The compensation range(s) identified below are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on compensable factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training, and other relevant business and organizational factors. Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range. 

The Salary Range - $72,000 - 100,000
