JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting and assisting with administration and coordination of preparation and response to disasters and emergencies that may or do occur within the County.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree in related field, such as emergency management, public administration or human services with two years related work experience
Ability to obtain required certifications, within 18 months of hire
Ability to supervise and direct volunteers and serve as emergency operation center manager
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting standards
Excellent organizational and communications skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures/practices
