PART TIME SEASONAL STUDENT ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANT
DEPARTMENT: Health Department - Environmental Division
HIRING RATE: $16.00/hour
BENEFITS OFFERED: No benefits offered
POSITION TO BE FILLED: May 2025
HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: 36 hours/week - May through August
LOCATION OF POSITION: Public Services Building - Dunlap
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Within County (please complete driving page on application)
JOB SUMMARY:
A variety of seasonal tasks including mosquito collection and identification, water quality testing, office work, and communicating with the public.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of one year of college; science background preferred
· Requires good communication and record keeping skills with attention to detail
· Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Pre-employment background check
· Training will be provided
