Position Title: Special Education Inclusion Paraprofessional
Location: Elementary Campus
Beginning: July 2025
Qualifications:
●Paraprofessional Certificate or qualified to apply for same
●Previous experience preferred but not required
Duties/Responsibilities:
●Demonstrate thoroughness and a high degree of reliability in performing work assignments
●Maintain good attendance and punctuality
●Cooperate with principal, supervising teachers and other staff members in achieving campus goals
●Ability to respond professionally to parents, staff, and students
●Follow guidelines/lesson plans as directed by supervising teacher
●Assist in students’ personal hygiene, dressing, meals, communication with other staff/therapists, and any other needs of student
●Possibly direct instruction, implementing IEP’s
●Provide positive reinforcement
●Assist with any mobility needs
●Monitor student progress on life skills’ goals and document observations
●Coordinate with other staff to coordinate care
●Perform other duties as assigned
