What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative- Part Time position at Elkhart Lake's Road America?
SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Customer Service Lead and HR Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for both inbound customer service and outbound sales to our customers promoting our public events, corporate events, and group ticket sales.
HOURS : This is a part-time, year-round position. During the peak season, the hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, as well as every other Saturday from 8 AM to 12. Additionally, availability is required for all Public Race weekends. Hours may increase or decrease based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist customers over the phone with the purchasing of event tickets.
- Selling company products or services.
- Upselling the customer on different products related to their event. (Example : golf carts)
- Maintain all records with accuracy.
- Contacting prospective customers and initiating outbound phone calls to sell tickets to events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
