The Young Adult Program provides young adult learners, with a verified disability who have met the credit requirements of high school, services in the area of transition and instruction with a focus on social, independent living, vocational, functional academic and personal management skills.
The Young Adult Program Transition Coach will provide support to the young adult learners in the following areas of programming.
Academic Instruction
- Approximately 1 hour per day for most students focusing on social, vocational, and functional academic skills, independent living, and personal management skills
Vocational
Community Experience
Education, and Qualifications :
Starting Pay : Transition Coach = $19.70 / hour
Hours : Approximately 35 hours per week
Follows the school calendar
Benefits :
Sick Leave : One (1) week worth of regularly scheduled hours
Personal Leave : Three (3) days of regularly scheduled hours

State Retirement : The District matches your contribution of 9.78 percent by 101 percent.
