Job Summary:
Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort is seeking an energetic and personable Seasonal Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for crafting drinks, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages at both our Pool Bar or Wedding Bars, engaging with patrons, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and state regulations.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and sanitizing surfaces.
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash/credit card payments.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for events or daily operations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic cocktail recipes and bar equipment.
- TIPS or equivalent responsible beverage service certification preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
