- Ensuring all District policies and procedures are followed and enforced
- Curriculum Leader that understands high quality instruction, and can provide effective feedback and coaching to help teachers maximize their potential
- Advanced understanding of the PLC and RTI process, with the ability to implement these initiatives at a high level
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Enforce discipline when necessary to facilitate a safe learning environment that is free of distractions
- Work with the faculty to establish and commit to clear student achievement goals, and provide direction and encouragement to all instructional staff in the accomplishment of goals
- Plan and oversee a site-based school budget
- Recruit, retain, supervise, support, and evaluate high quality staff
- Be willing to go above and beyond the minimum expectations to ensure school success
- Supervise after-school and weekend activities such as sports events, band concerts, choir concerts, etc...
- Other duties assigned by the Superintendent of schools
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching.
- Building level administration certification required.
- Prior Administrative experience is highly preferred.
