POSITION SUMMARY : To provide leadership in the development, implementation, evaluation and coordination of the District's 7-12 curriculum and instructional services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Assists the Superintendent in the administration of the District's 7-12 instructional services.
- Coordinates District instructional, testing and assessment, curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular programs.
- Assists in coordinating the development, implementation and updating of curriculum.
- Serves as the coordinator and consultant to the secondary staff in developing and implementing curricular and co-curricular programs.
- Coordinates and supervises the District's adult education program.
- Attends meetings of the Board of Trustees when necessary and prepares such reports of the Board of Trustees as may be required by the Superintendent.
- Participates in appropriate local, state, and national professional meetings.
- Coordinates and supervises the District's alternative education programs.
- Oversees the Battle Born Youth Challenge Academy (BBYCA).
- Coordinates and supervises the School Resource Officer (SRO) program.
- Coordinates and supervises the District Safety Committee.
- Coordinates and supervises the Northern Nevada Virtual Academy (NNVA).
- Coordinates and supervises the District Food Services program.
- Performs such other duties and tasks assigned.
