Position : Pool Cook
Location : Private Club Towson Md.
Reports To : Executive Chef / Sous Chef
Job Summary :
The Pool Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items for the poolside dining area, ensuring high-quality standards, efficiency, and presentation. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and consistency in food preparation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Food Preparation & Cooking :
Prepare and cook menu items according to club recipes and standards.
Ensure food is cooked and presented consistently to maintain high-quality service.Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.Kitchen Operations & Efficiency :Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Monitor food stock levels and communicate with kitchen management for replenishments.Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.Assist in setting up and breaking down the pool kitchen station daily.Collaboration & Club Member Service :Work closely with servers and other staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions as needed.Maintain a professional and friendly attitude while interacting with club members and guests.Qualifications & Requirements :
Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume, fast-paced environment preferred but not required.Knowledge of grilling, frying, and general kitchen operations.Ability to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor or warm environments.Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak summer hours.Benefits :
