Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Perform product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the shopping experience.
- Upsell products by recommending complementary items based on customer needs.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies such as bags and receipt paper.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed properly.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while adhering to company policies regarding cash handling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math calculations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
- Familiarity with POS systems is beneficial but training will be provided for the right candidate.
