Community Solar Sales Manager

Job Description:
Join a dynamic team driving the future of renewable energy. We are seeking a results-oriented, self-starter passionate about sustainable energy solutions to lead sales efforts in the Utility Scale and Community Solar segment across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Utility Scale and Community Solar project developers, EPCs, system integrators, asset owners, and engineering firms.
- Actively pursue sales leads to expand the sales pipeline.
- Forecast revenue regularly, analyze sales results, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Strengthen partnerships with PV project developers to ensure preferred supplier status.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to enhance market penetration.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, solution engineering, and operations teams to align goals and execution plans.
- Provide insights for marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the US market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales with a proven track record of revenue growth.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
- Previous experience in the PV industry, with knowledge of Utility Scale and Community Solar, is highly preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude to understand and communicate product benefits effectively.
- Demonstrated success in securing large revenue deals and converting new accounts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong customer service focus with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer competitive, market-informed compensation based on location, skills, experience, and business needs. The total compensation package includes base pay, potential bonuses, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your success professionally and personally.
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
