Electrical Engineer

Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) Engineer – Duluth, MN

We are currently seeking an experienced EIC Engineer to join our growing team in Duluth, MN. This role will be responsible for the execution of electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects, ensuring technical excellence and successful client management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in power generation facilities, transmission, or station design, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply broad expertise in electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems to technical projects.
• Lead and coordinate the electrical scope for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Provide direction and make final decisions within the electrical scope of projects.
• Support initial design efforts, including defining project objectives and developing power system designs.
• Oversee development of electrical deliverables, such as instrument lists, I/O lists, loop and wiring diagrams, ETAP/SLD models, physical layouts, circuit/conduit schedules, RFQ packages, and MTOs.
• Assist in the development and review of P&IDs to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to support project execution and implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 4-15 years of electrical experience (preferably within the Oil & Gas industry).
• Expertise in power generation, transmission, station design, or instrumentation & controls.
• FE or PE certification preferred.
