A leading Oil & Gas company is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is critical in driving the financial strategy of the company by analyzing investment opportunities, leading capital budgeting processes, and supporting key commercial activities. You will play a vital role in the development of both existing and new platforms within the corporate structure.
Responsibilities will include:
- Financial Analysis & Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models, perform valuation analysis, and create merger models.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multiple teams, including finance, commercial, treasury, and investor relations, to ensure effective execution of corporate strategies.
- Strategic Support: Assist with strategic analysis and evaluations of opportunities across North America, providing key insights on mergers and acquisitions, asset optimization, and project development.
- Investor Relations: Support investor relations activities, including preparing presentations, coordinating conferences, and drafting press releases.
- Transaction Evaluation: Help assess corporate and asset transactions, their structures, and their financial implications.
- Leadership & Reporting: Work closely with senior management to assess and execute corporate strategies, preparing investment memoranda for senior management and Board of Director meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting is required.
- 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in investment banking or private equity within the oil & gas
- Advanced experience in financial analysis and modeling, including valuation and merger modeling.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex information to key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.
Compensation for this role is $150-175K (DOE) plus bonus.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
