We are currently looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work for a leading provider of advanced Real Time Data Telemetry Systems, specializing in delivering precise and timely hydrological data to a variety of clients. Their systems are critical for monitoring and analyzing water resources, empowering industries and organizations to make informed, data-driven decisions.
As an Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems for our cutting-edge Real Time Data Telemetry Systems. You will collaborate closely with senior engineering staff, leveraging your expertise to develop innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. By contributing to system design, project requirement definition, and the successful implementation of our systems, you’ll ensure that the instrumentation systems are efficient, reliable, and production-ready. Your work will support the seamless integration of complex technologies with our manufacturing team to deliver high-quality, mission-critical solutions to our clients.
The Instrumentation & Control Engineer’s Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for real-time data telemetry applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to define project requirements and design solutions that align with customer needs.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure successful system implementation and production.
- Perform system verification and validation testing to ensure product quality and performance standards.
- Provide ongoing support and improvements to existing instrumentation and control systems.
- Actively contribute to the continuous development of industry knowledge and best practices, helping to shape the future of telemetry systems.
The Instrumentation & Control Engineer’s Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in an engineering field, preferably related to instrumentation or control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of electrical circuit design, including analog and digital signal processing.
- Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems, sensors, and transducers.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Experience in the water resources or hydrology industry is highly desirable but not required.
