Sales Engineer for Power Distribution

We are Ellaway Blues Consulting, a leading provider of specialized services to the technical and manufacturing industries.

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales growth within the assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, expanding the customer base and consistently meeting or exceeding individual and company sales targets within the designated region.
• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy in collaboration with leadership and business units.
• Sales and Technical Expertise:
• Utilize in-depth industry knowledge to recommend technical and practical solutions to customers' electrical needs.
• Drive sales of remanufactured and reconditioned power distribution and control products, including switchgear and HV/LV breakers.
• Conduct site visits and job walk-throughs to ensure accurate and profitable project quotes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive sales and revenue growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience, with a strong preference for sales experience in the utility and industrial markets.
• Extensive product knowledge of electrical switchgear, control products, and electrical distribution systems.
• Experience with high-voltage equipment up to the 230 kV class.
• Sales and Negotiation Expertise:
• Proven track record of driving business growth, generating leads, and closing sales.
• Strong skills in negotiations and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM systems preferred.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic situations.
