As a Wind Technician, you’ll be working at the forefront of clean energy—handling maintenance and fieldwork on wind turbines and solar-plus-storage systems. This is a dynamic, field-based role where your contributions directly impact energy production and system safety. Whether you’re early in your career or building on a foundation in electrical or mechanical systems, this role offers a solid path for growth, learning, and technical mastery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on wind turbines and solar/storage assets to ensure optimal performance.
- Support troubleshooting efforts, repairs, and system upgrades under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Apply Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and complete Job Safety Assessments (JSAs) before each task.
- Proactively identify safety issues in the field and suggest corrective actions.
- Document all work activities, supply needs, and maintenance logs with accuracy and clarity.
- Track project hours and submit relevant paperwork daily.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to off-hours service needs when required.
- Attend mandatory safety and technical training to stay up-to-date with standards and practices.
- Complete additional field tasks as directed by the site manager.
You bring a solid mechanical or electrical foundation, ideally with hands-on experience in wind or solar energy systems. You're safety-driven, adaptable to changing field conditions, and comfortable working at heights or in remote environments. Most importantly, you're ready to be part of a team that values precision, accountability, and progress in renewable energy.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
