What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Pack Lead (Food Manufacturing) position at Ellenos?
Prepack Lead is going to be a driven person, who is clear with goals and expectations of the organization. Is an organized employee who is always looking for process improvements and driving to increase efficiencies within the process. Prepack Lead will be working closely with the Production Manager, QA team and Maintenance department, making sure all company protocols and procedures are being followed to company standards.
The goal of the Lead is to organize the team, drive for excellence, give employees direction and support in their jobs, and create a positive work environment in the production department.

- Pay: $24-26/hr., DOE
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7am – 5pm (may vary based on business needs)
- Work Location: Federal Way Manufacturing Plant, In person

Essential Functions:
- Responsible to direct and coordinate team daily.
- Designate personnel to their respective position.
- All paperwork and documentation are done correctly and completed on time and entered in the system to ensure all finished products are in accordance with company standards.
- Comply with GMP standards.
- Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized and pass QA inspection before running any product.
- Ensure all equipment is properly connected and safe to run.
- Ensure batch numbers and bar codes are entered correctly on the printers before running the finished product.
- Ensure you are using the correct puree flavor and batch.
- Ensure you are using the correct cups and sizes.
- Ensure that the respective samples are delivered to the QA department.
- Make sure to take temperature on the finished product.
- Ensure all finished products have the correct weight. (puree and yogurt).
- Make sure all products being used are released and approved by the QA department.
- Enforce start time and break times (15 min break time, 30 min lunch break), coverage for breaks.
- Ensure all chemicals being used in your department are in accordance with company protocol and approved by the QA department.
- Communicate any mechanical problems to the maintenance department and supervisor.
- Make sure your team is driving to finish the goal set for the day of production.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills while multi-tasking effectively.

- Understanding of process and quality improvement concepts.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level.
- Ability to establish and maintain priorities to complete assignments by deadlines without detailed instructions.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft excel
- Experience/knowledge of OSHA and HACCP compliance.
- Industrial or Consumer Packaging within food manufacturing: 4 years (Required)
