Ellenville Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to oversee the Foundation’s strategic initiatives, fundraising efforts, and donor relations. This per diem position requires a highly motivated leader who will facilitate meetings, organize and execute fundraising activities, and cultivate relationships within the community. The Executive Director must possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of the hospital and its role within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and facilitate all Foundation meetings, ensuring structured and productive discussions.
- Organize and execute successful fundraising initiatives, including the annual golf tournament and gala.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners to advance the Foundation’s mission.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet financial goals and increase community engagement.
- Work closely with hospital leadership to align the Foundation’s efforts with hospital priorities.
- Serve as a knowledgeable liaison between the Foundation and Ellenville Regional Hospital, ensuring smooth collaboration and strategic alignment.
- Demonstrate strong networking skills, both internally within the hospital and externally in the community.
- Organize and run meetings effectively, including proficiency in using Zoom for virtual meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all fundraising and financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of donations, grants, and sponsorships, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, event planning, or donor relations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated fundraising expertise and a passion for philanthropic initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Ability to collaborate and build teams to enhance the Foundation’s impact.
- Established knowledge of the local community, with a strong network and positive reputation.
- Familiarity with Ellenville Regional Hospital’s mission and operations, with an understanding of how to work effectively within the organization
