About the Role:
Ellicott Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a 160-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Buffalo, New York, seeks a Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work every weekend and earn $50 an hour.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and assign nursing staff to ensure complete resident care requirements are met
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents and their families
- Provide information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by implementing rules and regulations
- Promote resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
- Manage documentation of resident care services
- Foster a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams
Requirements:
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory
- At least three years of experience in Long-Term Care is required
- The ability to lead as a strong and positive Team Director for all members of the staff
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Basic computer skills are necessary
