What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Supervisor position at Ellicott Development Company?
Ellicott Hotels is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join the hospitality team of the Aloft Buffalo Downtown at 500 Pearl. The Front Desk Supervisor will oversee all front desk operations within the hotel while on shift. This is an ideal position for an experienced hotel employee looking to move into their first entry level supervisory role.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in high level guest services, front desk and office operations, inventory control and management and a basic understanding of rate and revenue management systems. The right fit will require a team and positive culture awareness, the ability to anticipate the needs of our guests and the ability to make every guest interaction a positive one. A true passion for hospitality and guest service is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all Marriott Standards are implemented and upheld by all front office associates
- Be able to prioritize projects & activities pertaining to the front desk
- Be able to resolve guest issues with a guest first mentality while maintaining hotel policies in a financially sound manner
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior Marriott experience preferred but must have hotel front desk experience
- Must have open availability to work a mix of morning, evening and weekend shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
