Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Candidates are required to have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited college or university
- Candidates preferably hold an active psychologist license in the state of Illinois, post-doctoral fellows may be considered
- Relevant clinical experience with providing direct services to clients, including psychological or neuropsychological testing, maintaining appropriate documentation of testing services, and clinical report writing
- 1-3 years of experience in diagnosing a wide range of disorders, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, personality disorders, learning disabilities, and ADHD.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity with working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation services, including conducting clinical interviews, administering standardized tests, report writing, and providing feedback to the client and their families
- Complete documentation related to evaluation services
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling service gaps in our community
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- And other psychologist stuff we probably forgot to add, but is equally important to your role ;)
Bonus Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience evaluating for ASD, including ADOS certification
