Position Overview:
- Role Focus: Ellie Mental Health Peachtree City seeks a dedicated Associate Therapist (LAPC, LMSW, AMFT) to provide mental health services in Peachtree City, GA and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for those pursuing full clinical licensure, as Ellie offers the supervised clinical hours required for licensure.

Responsibilities:
- Direct Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of students in public schools.
- Assessment & Planning: Conduct thorough mental health assessments and create tailored treatment plans for each student.
- Collaboration: Work closely with staff, families, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of all counseling sessions, assessments, and communications, ensuring compliance with client guidelines.
- Supervision & Meetings: Regularly participate in clinical supervision and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative working environment.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best practices in mental health interventions and apply this knowledge to your practice.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Has applied for an Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) license, or Master's in Social Work (LMSW) from Georgia State Licensure Board.
- Skill Set: Strong ability to establish rapport with children, families, and staff, coupled with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience:
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
