The Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist II will be responsible for the following:
- Reinforces the company’s safety policies/procedures
- Conduct new hire safety orientation
- Act as a safety mentor/coach/resource to the field leadership
- Investigate employee work-related injuries and near misses
- Assist and provide safety training on policies, procedures, OSHA, DOT, EPA
- Prepare, schedule, and conduct regular crew safety audits in the field.
Requirements:
- Current BCSP Certification: CHST/CSP preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations and industry standards preferred.
- OSHA 500, or 510 certifications preferred.
- Five plus years of Safety Professional experience.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily workload, follow, and promote policies
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
