Ellingson is hiring a Level I Field Mechanic to join their growing team. Ellingson is a stable, family values-based company that specializes in underground solutions throughout Southern Minnesota and the entire United States.
*This position is based out of our shop in HARWOOD, ND.

The Level II Shop Mechanic will be responsible for the following:
· Repair and maintain equipment and vehicles on job sites.
· Operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect equipment for defects.
· Maintain proper record keeping and request work orders for all repairs.
Requirements:
· Overnight travel required.
· Ability to work on job sites.
· Minimum 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Familiarity with various types of construction equipment.
· Class A CDL required.
· Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
· Must have own set of comprehensive set of tools and toolbox to complete most mechanical repairs.
· Knowledge to assist with a large variety of repairs and overall knowledge.
· Must have familiarity with diagnostic tools and programs.
· Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot repairs over the phone and computer.
