Salary : $34.50-38.50 / hour DOE
Ellingson is hiring a Level I Field Mechanic to join their growing team. Ellingson is a stable, family values-based company that specializes in underground solutions throughout Southern Minnesota and the entire United States.
- This position is based out of our shop in HARWOOD, ND.

The Level I Field Mechanic will be responsible for the following :
Repair and maintain equipment and vehicles on job sites.
Operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect equipment for defects.
Maintain proper record keeping and request work orders for all repairs.
Requirements :
Overnight travel required.
Ability to work on job sites.
Minimum 2-5 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with various types of construction equipment.
Class A CDL required.
Medical Examiners Certificate required.
Must have own set of comprehensive set of tools and toolbox to complete most mechanical repairs.
Knowledge to assist with a large variety of repairs and overall knowledge.
Must have familiarity with diagnostic tools and programs.
Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot repairs over the phone and computer.
