The qualified candidate will have:
- Develop, manage, and sustain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
- Assist the Roadside Toll Systems Team in various functions, including report generation, establishing new alerts, migrating databases, deploying vendor builds, replacing hardware, maintaining SQL distributors, and providing roadside replication support
- Collaborate with the monitoring operations center and other SLAM team members to supervise third-party patching, conduct in-depth data analyses, develop Power BI reports, and coordinate with other teams to manage databases across diverse platforms and computing environments
- Evaluate data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas, then design, develop, modify, and optimize solutions to satisfy system requirements
- Collect, analyze, and standardize pertinent information regarding business processes, functions, and operations to assess data credibility and establish relevance and meaning
- Provide support to team functions that involve moderate to high complexity
- Contribute to multiple projects as part of a project team and occasionally take on the role of project leader
- Mentor junior technical staff
The qualified candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, specifically in Database Administration (DBA), SQL procedural coding and design, as well as in related computing environments
- Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language (PL-SQL) and Microsoft SQL (Transact-SQL) is required
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field is necessary, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
