What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Development Analyst position at Ellington Solutions?
Ellington Solutions is seeking qualified candidates that will:
- Lead the development and optimization of the GIS System of Engagement (SoE) to enhance cloud solutions and integrate systems, ensuring a seamless experience for users throughout the Department.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of AASHTOWare systems, ensuring that they remain current and effective for user needs.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing processes and applications, working closely with the Application Services Team to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with both internal and external customers to gather and refine business requirements, while developing actionable deliverables and performing advanced database analytics.
- Provide expert technical support for GIS functionalities to FDOT Central Office and Districts, utilizing technologies such as ArcGIS Enterprise and GIS web map services.
- Implement strategic designs and manage projects related to ArcGIS, ESRI WebApps, and AASHTOWare while offering high-level technical support for related services.
- Dive deep into the installation and management of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environments as well as ESRI desktop software, providing expert knowledge in these areas.
- Perform critical technical assignments in support of Application Services, including user account management and metadata maintenance.
The qualified candidate must have:
- Experience with developing Cloud solutions or web-based ArcGIS APIs (ESRI JavaScript API, ArcGIS REST API, Portal API, etc. minimum 5 years)
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise a must (minimum 5 years).
- Experience with ArcGIS Portal management a must (minimum 5 years).
- Experience in web-based application (ex. ESRI WebApps) development with ArcGIS Enterprise (minimum 8 years).
- Experience with ArcGIS Online (minimum 8 years).
- Experience with SQL Server & Geodatabase management.
- Experience with ArcGIS for Desktop and Extensions (minimum 5 years).
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Extensions (minimum 5 years).
- Experience with developing and maintaining documentation, including metadata.
- Experience with Mongo, Express, React, or Node JS (MERN), .Net Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, or Angular.
- Bachelor’s in Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent qualifications.
