Ellington Solutions is seeking out qualified candidates that will:
- Manage accounts payable functions, including AP invoice recording.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee semi-monthly payroll and 401k contributions.
- Handle timesheets export/import, reconciliation, and posting.
- Ensure compliance with financial record-keeping policies.
- Reconcile and document monthly credit card transactions.
- Assist in generating financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end closing and cash management entries.
- Reconcile and post expense reports.
- Manage purchase order and credit card authorization database.
- Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Support various audits throughout the year.
- Perform additional accounting tasks as required.
- Collaborate with personnel from all departments.
- Prepare monthly unbilled analysis reconciliation.
- U.S. Citizenship (Required)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- 5 years accounting work experience in a government contracting environment
- Minimum 4 years working experience with the ERP system Deltek Costpoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- In- depth knowledge of interpreting government contracts and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
