Ellington Solutions is seeking out a qualified candidate that will:
- Support day-to-day IT operations, manage infrastructure, and provide help desk support.
- Operate, improve, and secure the IT environment (macOS, Windows, Linux, Cisco, Office 365, AWS, Atlassian Cloud).
- Maintain integrity and security of servers and systems.
- Identify and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts.
- Research IT questions and advise users/management.
- Follow help desk procedures and document processes.
- Support and maintain user accounts.
- Maintain inventory of equipment, software, and licenses.
- Stay updated with system changes.
The qualified candidate will have:
- U.S. Citizenship (Required)
- 7 years of systems/network administration experience.
- Experience with macOS, Windows, Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange Server, WSUS, Office 365.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and network services (DNS, NFS, CIFS, DHCP, SMTP).
- Knowledge of system/network security and best practices.
- Scripting experience (Linux shell, PowerShell).
- Understanding of public key infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs) and service wires/equipment.
- Experience with multifactor authentication, Linux, AWS, Cisco devices, Atlassian Cloud, Jira Service Management, munki, autopkg.
- Preferred certifications: Cisco, Microsoft, AWS.
