Job Summary
Elliotts Landscape Group is hiring experienced and dedicated Irrigation Technicians in the Savannah area. We are a family owned and operated business that has been around for over 25 years in the Savannah area. The primary scope of our business is in commercial landscape maintenance and construction.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for HOA communities and commercial properties. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, with a particular emphasis on 2-wire technology.
Duties
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, build irrigation layouts, and perform necessary installations.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall lawn care.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with irrigation systems and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and system evaluations.
- Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and the importance of water conservation.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation is mandatory.
- Familiarity with various types of irrigation systems and components.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation of power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in outdoor environments.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Compensation
Your compensation will be reflective of your experience level with annual reviews which could lead to increase your compensation.
