We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Manage the entire escrow process from opening to closing, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis and review loan origination documents to ensure compliance with underwriting standards.
- Prepare and review contracts, ensuring all terms are met before closing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to escrow services.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate closing costs and other financial figures accurately.
Experience
- Previous experience in escrow processing or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with banking processes, underwriting procedures, and financial services is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of TILA regulations and Fair Housing laws is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and team members.
