Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by ensuring they are clean and free of debris.
- Mix and pour concrete according to specifications and project requirements.
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Install forms for concrete structures, ensuring they are secure and properly aligned.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during the pouring and finishing processes.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and welders, to ensure project timelines are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and layout.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in concrete forming and pumping techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
- Experience in building structures, including roofing and frame carpentry.
