Overview
Ellis Construction Specialties, a leading concrete forming and shoring company with branches in Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas, is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Yard Worker to join our team in Broomfield, Colorado. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate and benefits.
Duties
- Inspect and clean concrete forms and steel material using a machine, grinder, and hand tools.
- Restock concrete material and maintain inventory.
- Pull orders accurately and efficiently by hand and forklift.
- Load and unload flatbed semi-trucks using a forklift.
- This is a labor-intensive job with repetitive lifting.
Skills
- You must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. repeatedly and safely.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. This is an outside job.
- This position is subject to background check and drug screen.
- Eligible to work in the United States. Legal Documents will be required.
- Respectful of others.
Benefits
- Pay: $20.00/hour. Potential pay increase after 90 days and 1 year of employment.
- 401(k) plan with 5% company match after 1 year.
