The Front Yard is looking for a new Hostperson! We have over 800 hard-working and passionate employees throughout our 17 locations. Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Hostperson is to welcome our guests when they arrive in our restaurant and start them off with a positive dining experience. Hosts/Hostess? need to be able to work with speed and work on task to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for our guests. Hosts/Hostess? should always show true hospitality to our guests and maintain a positive attitude towards co-workers.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.
- Good communication and customer service skills are essential for this position.
- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization and to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
Essential Functions
- Seating restaurant guests by seating each section fairly and consistently to ensure customer service standards are maintained.
- Must have knowledge of the menu and additional products that are served including all beverages as well as daily specials.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk swiftly for extended periods of time and bend to obtain items near the floor.
