Job Description
The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in driving brand awareness, engagement, and growth across Koin?s social media platforms. This individual will work closely with the marketing team to plan, create, and execute campaigns that align with the company?s vision and goals. Based in Las Vegas, this role is perfect for a creative and organized professional passionate about storytelling, content creation, and analytics.
Compensation
$45,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience

Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, respond to comments/messages, and maintain an active online presence.
- Stay up to date on industry trends to bring fresh ideas to content strategies.
Content Creation
- Develop visually compelling graphics, videos, and written posts in alignment with Koin?s brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and highlight key initiatives, events, and milestones.
- Write, edit and produce engaging content for blogs, social media, emails, web, press releases and other digital print materials.
Campaign Strategy and Execution
- Assist in designing social media campaigns that align with larger marketing objectives.
- Track the performance of campaigns and provide actionable insights to optimize results.
- Assist in creating assets that support marketing strategies.
Community Engagement
- Build and nurture online communities by creating meaningful conversations and interactions.
- Engage with industry influencers, partners, and stakeholders to amplify Koin?s messaging.
Analytics and Reporting
- Use tools like Google Analytics and platform insights to measure performance.
- Create detailed reports on social media metrics and recommend improvements.
Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Innovations, to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Skills / Experience
- Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 1-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the fintech, gaming, or technology sectors.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.) and scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and generating insights.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
