Sr. IT Consultant

BASIC FUNCTION:

The IT Consultant is responsible for performing advanced, specialized administrative, clinical, business, or other operations duties in a designated program, area, or specialty program.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):

• Knowledge of inpatient and ambulatory healthcare workflows.
• 10 plus years of experience working with Cerner Millennium design/build system tools supporting multiple types of end-user positions (clinical and non-clinical).  
• 10 plus years of supporting multiple major Cerner applications such as PowerChart (Inpatient Nursing and Ancillary), SurgiNet, FirstNet, Ambulatory, Behavioral Health, and HIM. 
• 10 plus years of experience with the following Cerner Millennium build/management tools:
  1. Prev/Pref Maintenance
  2. Locations, Location Hierarchy, and CORE
  3. PowerForms, PowerPlans, IPOCs, and iView
  4. MPages and custom MPAge Components
  5. CoreCode Builder and Aliasing for Interfacing
  6. Olympus and OPS Jobs
  7. Cerner Backend / PUTTY
  8. CCL / Discern Expert (rules)/Dev Rules/EKM
  9. Task Builder, DCP Tools, and HNA User
  10. BedRock, ESH,  and Orders Management
  11. Dynamic Documentation Builds / Provider Note Template Builds
• 10 plus years with writing custom CCL (Cerner Command Language) scripts, reports, table updates, update statements, and note builds within Cerner.  
• 10 plus years writing custom Cerner Discern Rules utilizing javascript

Salary Range:  $58.87-94.20   /hour                   Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
