Position Summary:
The Client Intake Specialist plays an important role in helping Ellis Porter deliver a remarkable immigration experience to our clients. As a Client Intake Specialist, you will leverage your excellent communication skills and positive attitude to make sure that Ellis Porters clients are handled with a high level of attention because you take pride in going the extra mile to help us exceed their service expectations. You embrace the challenges of working on the front lines of client service. You welcome client service challenges and see them as opportunities to demonstrate Ellis Porters professionalism, empathy and commitment to making things right with our clients. You find it very rewarding to help make our clients from all around the world feel like they are part of the Ellis Porter family.
Please note - although this role is remote and open to applicants across the United States, the work must be performed within the United States.
What you'll be doing:
- Handle client inquiries professionally and promptly through phone and email.
- Screen potential clients through initial consultations to evaluate case eligibility and collect relevant information.
- Work with attorneys and case managers to ensure smooth case assignments and transitions from intake to representation.
- Guide clients through the intake process with empathy and professionalism, addressing all questions and concerns clearly.
- Keep detailed, current records of potential client interactions and potential case details
- Review client records for quality using our client management system
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, follow instructions accurately, and show proactive initiative.
- Utilizes software and workflows to process client and matter intake information.

- Previous experience working in customer service, administrative or other public-facing role with emphasis on high levels of service
