The role … The HVAC Service Technician performs the duties of product testing and qualification of all the products our Company manufactures to prove that the product performs as designed and to our customer’s specifications. You will… Operate equipment, machinery, and instruments to maintain a safe and healthy work environment Verify that the electrical wiring is correct and matches the details on the electrical schematics Review the Internal Shop Order and Test Plan Procedures and related forms, and perform testing following the specified requirements Connect and verify certified calibration instruments of all data recording equipment needed to provide necessary testing data Accurately record results of testing Perform set up and operation of various equipment used to create the environments required to meet the customer’s specifications Be responsible for maintaining process control of material and job activity Understand job priorities and work to meet the Company’s established production and shipping plans Perform other duties or projects as assigned We’re looking for … A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in commercial/industrial HVAC/R Technical/Trade school certification or equivalent job knowledge Prior manufacturing or repair shop experience is a plus Current Environment Protection Agency (EPA) certification for handling refrigerants Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R and Electrical Troubleshooting Experience with low and High Voltage 3 Phase energy from 208 V to 600 V High attention to detail and quality oriented A team player who will work well with a cross-function team Just so you know … We require pre-employment drug testing and a background check This position will require some domestic and international travel We offer … Competitive compensation, paid time off, and generous employee benefits A casual work environment Fun team celebrations throughout the year!
